Flamingo was all smiles after her practise yesterday :) Her dance team got 1st place at the competition!! Whoot!!! I guess the instructors where so proud of them and said how well they did..:)So all the girls where so happy :) They will get their trophies tday after practice.
    They have their last competition coming up this Sat in Roy-it will probably be another all day thing...I was totally wiped out last Sat-LOLOL-why? I have no idea- as I didnt do anything but get Flamingo prepped etc..LOLOL-but I was pooped at the end of the day....I have to admit its fun though:)
   Watching her out there-so confident, so unlike I was when I was dancing and her age...makes me smile just thinking abt that smile on her face after she is done...LOLOL.
   This past week was really hard preparing for the comp-this week is going to be just as hard. She's had practices every day except for Friday before comp and that Sunday..2 1/2 hrs each day...crazy....and you'd think she would complain-but not a peep. So shes really liking it-alot of pressure, but I think its really teaching her to be dedicated to something, to not give up when you are faced with a challenge. The teachers are hard...but they want the kids to be proud of themselves which they are. They can see how their hard work has paid off last Sat.
Flamingo has taken dance before, clogging, gymnastics, but never was so serious-no competitions. I wondered what she would think abt the difference in this place...but shes loving it:) Which makes all the running ard worth it :)
