School Report.....
I just recently went back to my blog-I havent been doing so well-except for loading a bunch of videos-sorry-I hadnt realized I had shared so many-LOLOLOL
Anyway-I read some of your comments and I am relieved that I see I am not the only one who objects to this school interference.....pretty disturbing dont you think...
geesh.....
I called the school the next day and yes, they did inform me that it had been going on....I told them I didnt think it was appropriate and that I wanted to make sure my children did not take part in anything of that sort in the future, that I was to be notified, and that my children where to go to the Library when ever a so called "visitor" came. They said sure, acted as if I was some sort of nutty parent-and probably put a red flag by my kids charts saying I was a "problem parent" LOLOLOL So be it!! LOLOLOL
They did inform me that thsi visitor will be coming one more time-she has one more lesson for the children...oH goody...my kids will NOT be present to hear it!!And sheesh-I thought that least lesson was a doozey....sigh....
Yes, the school had sent home a different paper earlier in the year that said 5th graders had a so called maturation class...and it said that 4th graders would be invited if they so chose to be there....I had signed it NO, to make sure Flamingo was not to take part in this....but this visitor was all together different and we received no notification abt it....
Anyway-thats taken care of-hopefully, at any rate my kids now know that when this visitor comes they are not to stay in the classroom....and to call me if there is a problem.
Another little tid bit I learned last week:
I learned abt it through a book I am reading called "Somebody Has To Say It" The Chapter is titled "Nice pencils, Now hand them over"
Okay-you know how during the last few weeks in Summer they come out with those school supply class lists....well we usually always get them and try and get as many things on the list that we can. Its usually quiet a bit of money, and seeing as how we have usually spent a little on a couple of new school clothes the money is just not flying ard at that time....ykwim? Anyway, they have the pencils, teh erasers and folders etc, and usually I let them get some special things that are just theirs-like spider man pencils or something like that.A nice sparkly folder for Flamingo etc... you know...
Anyway-they all come home and there is so much excitement putting all their school supplies into their backpacks-taking them out, and then in, at least a dozen times. You remember this -right? How excited you were? It was great!:) I remember going up to the cash register with my parents just all giddy thinking about all my new things-lololol. Im sure your kids are the same as I was and how my kids are...
This book went on to say how teachers tell the children starting in Kindergarden to pass everything up to the front and put it all in a bucket. It is now the "classes" new school suplies....I was in shock...I couldnt believe it....no way I said to myself -thinking about all the hard earned money we have just spend so many years and how happy our children have been-only to have these supplies confiscated by the teachers on the first day of class!!? No way....I dont believe it....This guy is a real loon....
Surprise...its happening....happening in our school anyway....and only worse...I talked to both Monkey Boy and Flamingo and sure as heck-its done to them each and every year the first day of class...And you know what happens to those special spider man pencils? That pretty sparkly folder? They go in a prize bucket to be earned by the class-so they are up for grabs by anyone in the class-including my son....What really made me sick was when Monkey Boy told me that if he gets a special pencil the teacher takes it and gives him a plain orange one. And sometimes there are no pencils and they have to get with a buddy and SHARE!! SHARE???A PENCIL!!!! What the heck??????My kids who had enough to last all year now have none????Stinger got the exact same amt and he has plenty left-which just prooves my point!....It just makes me sick.....I dont know what the reasoning is behind it, if parents dont know its happening( we didnt), if its socialism in its purest form, or what????You cant have it unless everyone has it and they dont so Im taking it from you-is what it sounds like.
My kids have never told me...never...see thats how impressioneable they are-how they think teachers are the authority when it comes to anything...They have never questioned thsi in their minds-not even my 4th grader...I should have seen this....my son who always had in the past wanted a quarter to put in the pencil machine at school. They are neat sparkly pencils, ya know-pencils you can peel, etc-ones kids like....He just stopped asking for quarters for this machine...i didnt think anything of it then-but this is why? Why get a pencil if its going to be taken away from you????It all makes perfect sense now...sigh....
Now I know things like wipes, tissue goes to the class...but pencils.....???Rediculous.....and doing it behind our backs-so sneaky like....How abt the teachers tell us..."so and so child doesnt need all these extra supplies right now-juts a few...so Im having him bring them home to you-you who have spent your hard earned money on them, and you can decide what to do with them? But no-thats not what is being done, and in some instances-if its something special it gets taken and put in a prize box to be won by who knows? And given to some others and then there are none left and your child goes without. Lets just say dh and I were so sick abt it....so yes, school has changed since we went.....changed far for the worst Im afraid.....
Needless to say-our kids wont be going to school with their back packs full of their supplies anymore...only when teacher says they need it are they to take it to school....sigh....stupid to have to do this...just stupid....Im not going to stop getting them everything they need-it will be just as it was-but they wont be forking everything over to the teacher anymore...what the heck....

Well as If Im not already fired up.....lately......LOLOLOLOL
Today I learn that my daughter who is in 4th grade and my little boy who is in 2nd grade have had a mystery visitor coming into the school every week-to talk abt all kinds of wonderful "school" things..... Things every parent would want a complete stranger telling them abt...
Guess Reading, Spelling, History, Grammer, Math, and Science is sooo old school now. The new thing is to tell them abt sexuality,coaches that might be molesting them, and to get that all time goal percentage on state test scores......!!!!
Ive abt had it......
I learned abt the lady last week-when my daughter came home telling us that spankens were bad and that there was a better way.........Red flags went up there on that one and I choose to talk with dh abt it-explain things to the kids and I thought I had taken care of that....wrong......
Since when did the schools or should I say Government decide they could do a better job raising our kids than we can???Talk abt undermining parents. Flamingo actually told me "No Mom-this lady is right!" She took this strangers advice over the guidance of her own parents. I think my jaw abt hit the floor. What kind of a society does this kind of undermining within the family unit? What ever happend to parents raising their kids. Do they really think we arent cutting it? Or is it a slow, controlling, purposefully thing-you know that saying: "if you capture the kids you seize the nation"-something like that....except I think it was from a simple someone...oh.... like......HITLER!!!!!
Anyway what urkes me to no end is that they do this with an outside source, not informing the parents, etc.....so for all i know this woman could be one of those sickoes.....has SHE had a background check.....has her references been checked. She probably doesnt have any of the Godly values I have and yet she is trying to teach her own set to MY child????
Not to mention Godly principles are out the window.....I am just so upset abt everything.....Ive been reading my bible-religiously too, hoping it would help answer some of my questions abt so many things that I dont understand happening to our nation, to our society.....
And honestly Im not getting to much comfort.....only that its supposed to be, that I should not worry, that it will get worse(cant wait),that it will all end well.....okay...but what abt NOW??? What am I supposed to do abt NOW?

As he does every year, the President filled out his brackets predicting the winners of the men's and women's NCAA basketball tournaments, but discussing it with Doris Burke of ESPN, he began with a call to stand with the people of Japan:
One of the things I wanted to do on the show was, as people are filling out their brackets -- this is obviously a national pastime; we all have a great time, it’s a great diversion. But I know a lot of people are thinking how can they help the Japanese people during this time of need. If you go to usaid.gov -- usaid.gov -- that will list all the nonprofits, the charities that are helping out there. It would be wonderful for people to maybe offer a little help to the Japanese people at this time -- as they’re filling out their brackets. It’s not going to take a lot of time. That's usaid.gov. It could be really helpful.

Terror threats rising as FEMA orders $1 Billion in dehydrated food - National Finance Examiner
Terror threats appear to be on the rise as FEMA has rushed a $1 Billion order of dehydrated food in the event of attacks on domestic targets in the US.
This is also coming on the heels of one of the largest terror drills performed by the US Navy on American soil, as Operation Solid Curtain is taking place this week.
In an article Tuesday from the Beaufort Observer, many of the largest suppliers of dehydrated foods in the country are dropping their distributors and customers to dedicate their resources to supplying a billion dollar FEMA request and purchase.
One of the nation's largest suppliers of dehydrated food has cut loose 99% of their dealers and distributors. And it's not because of the poor economy. It's because this particular industry leader can no longer supply their regular distribution channels. Why not? Because they're using every bit of manufacturing capacity they have to fulfill massive new government contracts. Look, the government has always been a customer of the industry to some extent. But according to our sources, this latest development doesn't represent simply a change of vendor on the government's part. It's a whole new magnitude of business.
And that's not all.
Apparently, even though they've cut off their regular consumer markets, the industry leader I've just mentioned still can't produce enough survival food to meet the government's vast requirements. How do we know? Earlier this month, FEMA (the Federal Emergency Management Agency) put out a Request for Proposal, or RFP, for even more dehydrated food. The RFP called for a 10-day supply of meals - for 14 million people. That's 420 million meals. Typically, FEMA maintains a stockpile of about 6 million meals. Why the sudden need to increase the stockpile by 420 million more? (And that's in addition to whatever our aforementioned industry leader is supplying.) It almost seems like they're trying to stock a modern day "Noah's Ark," doesn't it?
Single functions or events such as FEMA requesting a purchase of survival food might not stand out as peculiar when it is their responsibility to ensure they are mission ready for unforseen events in the US, but couple this with other pieces of the puzzle, such as the Navy drill of Solid Curtain, which is intended for:
...nationwide "drill" involving all military, and it's a drill based on a severe terrorist attack.
and the public had best be aware of something major potentially occurring on our soil in the near future. Global events across the world such as the revolutions and protests, the rising spike in oil, the falling dollar, food shortages, and unrest in Wisconsin and Ohio, are bringing us to the point where crisis may take place, whether from domestic or foreign sources.
Terror alerts have been raised by FEMA in the past month, and this new special order of dehydrated food, at the magnitude of $1 Billion dollars in taxpayer money, should be a call for everyone to prepare on your own for any potential crisis.

Okay-heres the skinny abt this guy....
Ive been listenening to him on various other broadcasts and hes pretty knowledgeable abt money, stocks, the government etc....
To sum this up( yeah I know its long-but its full of very important info and its where my mind has been lately anywho...)
This is what he says:

1. canned goods/freeze dried/hydrated to last family about 6 months
2. water filters
3. armed
after these basic necessities have been filled THEN....
4. gold and silver coins
5. shares
K-We have just been going about working on the first 3. I dont know abt you, but we dont have alot of money lying ard to get into 4 and 5-LOLOL, who does really, but this is what we are doing here. Also planting a garden come summer/spring, and getting chickens-hence wanting to be as reliant as possible on no one...especially the government.
We have even started ordering from a storage complany here in Utah/Idaho called Shelf Reliance. They sell freeze dried foods/hydrated that you can store. You can even get set up on a system where you tell them an amt you want to pay each month-you set up the items you want and every month they are delivered to you. This is the route we are going. Dh knows a guy at work-so we have gotten to sample and buy quite a few things and BOY-they are GOOD!!!!!! We love snacking on them-so we get ones to snack on and now we have been doubling up with basics like dried milk etc that we can store. I have designated our extra bedroom downstairs to start stocking up our food storage.
Yes-Im doomsdaying...LOLOLOL, maybee Im wrong, hopefully Im wrong.....If I am Ill be singing praises all my days....but whats the harm in knowing and being prepared fro the worst....you know the saying.."Hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst"-thats what we are doing....
So maybee its not for you...thats okay-just do your own research-and you judge to see what is best for you and your family.
