Well for the past 4 days poor Monkey Boy has been coughing and coughing. On Wed night he had a fever too and was just feeling awful. Yesterday we went to the Dr to check it out just to make sure it wasnt strep or anything..... Dr said he could go to school tday, checked for strep-came back neg, gave us some cough syrup to make him sleep at nigt and I thought Ok-just gotta wait this thing out then....
Our power went out in the neighborhood last night -so all kiddoes where in the living room camping out....and of course Monkey Boy was just coughing away-not letting anyone sleep....
So he didnt go to school agn tday-hes been out since Tuesday...and we just got a call from the Dr saying that the culture came back positive.....for strep,so yeah:( Poor Monkey Boy-no wonder he has been so misereable:(
Im just hoping no one else gets anything......but once he takes the meds in 24 hrs he isnt contagious anymore.....good thing we kept him home tday-ya think-;)LOLOLOL
Please keep him in your prayers-he started crying tday saying how he hates being sick-poor guy:(
