Flamingo is graduating tomorrow!! WHOOT!!!!!


I can NOT believe that she will be going into Middle School!!!! WOW!!!!  I remember when I graduated from Elementary-so very long ago-it was SUCH a BIG deal-LOLOL I even remember the bubbly dress I got to wear. GOOD memories!!:)


So naturally us girls HAD to go shopping- Had really good success too-got some new pumps, a new dress and a really pretty lace ribbon to do her hair up with-she will be beautiful:) And best off all-we had a really fun time:)

Only two adults are allowed to come-I guess as they will be serving dinner before the graduation. The boys are wanting to go-Stinger said he wanted to go-just to embarras her-what a brothe rthing to say-eh:)LOLOL
 She is sooo excited!!! I cant wait- Should be sooo much fun!!! Way to Go Flamingo!!!!

Little Momma Breaks......:)

has started to leave the kittens for little minutes of time-so Stinger managed to get some good pics of just the babbies-Aren't they just the cutest things!!!! I just cant stop watching them-they are sooo adoreable!!

They are so helpless-their eyes and ears wont open for another 2 weeks-wow!!  My favorite is this little boy who has his head over the orange one. He's striped and has the cutest little light face. I cant wait till they get a bit older and we can get better pics of them individually:) Their little cries are so cute and Momma quickly rushes over-shes doing such a good job with them-Im soooo relieved.  We thought we were going to have to grab them from her...we had a couple at first that didnt make it-poor Stinger he came in all weepy eyed:( So Im glad she figured it out with these last 4. I REALLY didnt want to have to feed and care for something so delicate and fragile....I quickly took the first one out-Garfield is what Flamingo is calling it-the orange one, and broke the cord and placed it with Momma and then she licked it-with me watching closely.... I did it with the next 2 as well as I just wasnt sure she could be alone with them-but then at 2:30 I decided to go to bed and when we awoke the next day their was the striped one too-all cleaned up and doing well-they all were...So maybee she just needed a little help in understandng what to do. But at any rate they are all doing fine and Momma is enjoying her litter-YEAH!! :)

Still alive-and Update on Puddin-doing well!! Whoot!!! Just been busy doing the trip thing-hotels to book, prices to compare-yigh!! But havin a ball plannin! :)

Puddin in Pain...:(

Puddin (Our  other Momma ard here) I call her "Momma" is in pain tnight. :( She came in from going outside with Bella and she fell down the back steps-as her back legs were not working right...weird...just out of the blue:(

I cant figure it out at all. But shes not whining in pain, just doesnt want to put any pressure on those back legs.  She was absolutely miserable on the slippery kitchen tile-so we put her in the living room, and put squirrley Bella outside in the pen for now. She seams to do good and will put her weight on it when shes walking, but to stand up or sit down really gives her problems and she doesnt like it...:(

We took he rout potty in the front-but both our back door an dfront you have to go down stairs and she was just dragging her back feet down the stairs out front, but was happy, tail wagging to be able to go out front to do her business. Then she managed to go up the stairs ok, but still haveing a bit of trouble. 

 I loooked it up online and it says she might have just sprained it-most are gone in abt 48 hrs-but could take a coupleof weeks to heal. Poor Baby-I hope its not anything like arthritus or hip problems...:( man-Im so upset abt it-almost in tears. Shes my shadow-my baby...:( 

I found a really good sight online with a Dr who does videos too-ad promotes a raw food diet and he said that you can give them aspirin-325mg for 30 pd dogs 2xdailey, and 500 mg for 50 pd dogs etc-so I just gave Puddin one wrapped in cheese-hopefully that will help her feel better:) and yes-did TUNZ of research on it and it IS safe:) So we shall see how she does...please send your prayers her way. Man-rough night:( Praying for a better one tom:)

Baby Its Hot Outside...

This blogger is totally drivin me nuts-Ive been here already abt 15 min-and just barely am able to write-my text blinker kept disseappearing---lolol.
    
It feels like summer already-we had a short Spring-right?-all my tin foil hat friends(;)lolol)kept saying just wait till Summer comes...and if this is any indication how its going to be-we are in for a scorcher...its not Summer till June-and we are already in our 80's...yigh...


So I loaded up the kiddoes and we went to the pool after school, but not until after I realized each and everyone of them had outgrown their swimsuits...LOLOLOL. So we stopped off at Kings for some suits and away we went. They all had a good time-I choose not to get in-just wanted to chilll and soak up a new book Im reading. Its an Amish series by Beverly Lewis-and Im on the last one. I marvel at the Amish and Mennonite-we have so many ard here-I marvel at how simple and happy still their lives are-sometimes I wish I had their skills and could be content to just be....I think abt them alot.... Ive reserved the Hunger Games at our Book Mobile-and Im itching to dig into those as well:) I LOVE to read!! Its my relax when Ive had it up to here, my breathing space...So we all enjoyed ourselves tday:)


We've had the air cond on -its been so hot.  But last night it started to just barely blow out-which dh says means its fixin to need to be serviced-yeah! Another unaccounted expense. But tday it was running fine-so cross your fingers. Our Suburban has finally come back from the shop-that was another unexpected fix. Seams it rains when it pours ard here...yigh... Poor dh-trying so hard to do overtime for our trip-then having it basically disappear before he blinks..THATS gotta be frustrating...


The chickens haven't been laying but maybe 2 eggs a day-don't know if its the heat, their grazing-not finding enough food etc-but you'd think that they wouldn't go and get in their hen house every night if they were hungry -right? I was thinking about giving them some feed to see if that makes a difference...maybe they need to have more water buckets ard?? Gotta research that-any way-something is up with them.


Oh-Kitty is pregnant ...agn....geesh...I decided instead of getting my heart broken as I watch her this time-I will just let her be-shes been acting really moody-so who knows when the day will be-but soon I imagine...Shes really big-so who knows...

Update-Long OverDue

Yigh-been one of those days agn...LOLOLOL.

But this picture made me laugh out loud as my day wasnt THAT bad-LOLOL

Kids have been out playing in the ditches out back-I always make them take along a walkie talkie, but couldnt understand a darn thing they were saying...slightly frustrating-but they have so much fun out back-but I noticed they kept getting into the actual fields where there was planting-so I told them to get out-and they kept argueing.....Stinger was argueing...That boy sure knows how to light me up I tell ya. He can turn me quite sour for the whole night...not to mention that its light out till abt 9 now-so they all want to play, not take their showers, not do their homework, not do their chores. Had me quite upset by bedtime.  Then Stinger noticed that one of his fish was belly up:( That producd tears...so I quickly shifted to counselor...yigh..So Im pooped...LOLOL

We have started to plan for our trip to Georgia. I am SOOOOOOOOO excited to take a road trip with my family-sooo many good memories I have, and now I INTEND to make some for our kids...notice I said INTEND;).  Gosh-but who knew how much planning it all entails...yeesh!  So many things we want to see, so many people to see-its going to be such fun!!

Stinger is out of school-the other two still have a month or so left. He is so happy to just be able to enjoy his day now-not having to worry abt anything. Its fun to see him so happy. Next year we are doing Public School agn. -Shudders-yigh!  But we have met with the counselor and Spec Ed leader and its looking promising.  We will have to see how our first IEP meeting goes-stay tuned as the jury is still out-they have allot of proving to do by me.

Chickens are doing good-still laying, but have slowed a bit as they are grazing now instead of on pure feed for the winter. This makes their egg yolks really yellow-but they taste just as good:) Bella our rottie is now potty trained , but has to be on a leash out with the chickens-she wanst to eat them. Puddin-our brwn lab just goes abt her business ignoring them. Its so funny as Puddin tries to discipline Bella-she gets so upset with her whenever she is caught doing something naughty that Puddin knows she shouldnt be doing-especially with the chickens-LOLOL-we found a little bump under her skin-we will have to keep an eye on that -hoping and praying it isnt anything serious. Shes like one of our kids-been with us forever...

This new blogger is driving me nuts-putting my words here and there-very frustrating...LOLOL-so bare with me as I figure this out-LOLOL

Flamingo is now doing soccer agn-and is getting better, she is also taking power tumbling-right now she is learning how to do a one-armed kartwheel-LOLOL-interesting...:) But she loves it-and all on her own-no tempting from friends which means maybee she might just stick with it-LOLOL She is getting so grown up-I think shes 11 going on 16 some days-then I find her playing in her room with her polly pockets-LOLOLStill our princess though-such a joy and my lil girl:)

Monkey Boy is doing really well in school-his teacher I dont care to much for-and thats all Im saying on that-LOLOLHes stil our lil snuggler and still wants to hold my hand-our only one now-sometimes Flamingo. But Stinger? Forget abt it-LOLOL Hes trying really hard to get a 6 pack-LOLOL-doing really well in boxing too. My baby-4ever:)

Stinger is just loving his no school-he did really well though-we tried him with out his attention pills at the beginning of the year-and it was a real struggle to bring his grades back up all year-so we know he needs them now-but its only during school-I guess his mind wanders -cause at home there is no problem with this.  He sure is starting to question everything-me in particular though-which is frustrating-but I guess its all a matter of growing up and learning things:(

So everyone is doing good-I love my family so much. I truly am blessed:)

PS-Im going to update at least every other day now-so stay tuned.....ok-Im gunna try...;P

 

I Hate This "Spring" Weather....

Okay...okay...I know the title is pessimistic(sp) lolol. But tday has been one of those -pull out your hair, blow a couple gaskets- kinda days...YIGH...kids are FINALLY in bed-they all had off tday. I know what your thinking-what a great day to spend some fun times with the kids....right? WRONG!!Yigh-Im so wound up-and I thought what a better way to unwind then fester and whine on here-LOLOL-Arent you all the lucky ones;)LOLOL

It started out with me waking up to silence-and I thought oh-interesting...I then peer out the window and find all three kids playing outside...come to find out that they were driving dh nuts so he sent them outside. Now under normal conditions this would have been fine...but due to our lovely "spring" weather the ground back and front is one big mud pit...yuck...tell me how I know-chickens and dog duty...which the dog duty hasnt been done in awhile-so its gross...yigh...so there the kids are and they come in one by one with the dogs and the whole house-carpet, stairs, kitchen floors get covered with who knows what kind of crud...not to mention there is a abt 2 inches of yuck on all the kids shoes...# 1 Gasket gets blown....LOLOL-I officially ban the kids from spending any time outside the rest of the day.
Eat lunch, kids getting rowdy-end up watching a movie downstairs....then I realize since the sun is shining for the first second that I need to go burn the trash...so I head upstairs to find all the caked on shoes not outside, but inside laving our entry way just gross-another mess to clean up-none of the kids had decided to wash up their OWN shoes, and at that had left them in the house right by the stairs....#2 Gasket gets blown...LOLOLOL
UGh-I have had it up to here with the mud-I have to take the dogs out and each time I get to disinfect the kitchen floor afterwards...and now its in the house and on the stairs....UGH!! And still had all the shoes to wash off outside....

I cleaned up everything with the help from my mischief makers and then realized maybee I needed to chill and since I hadnt had time to shower yet-I headed to the bathroom-only to find it filthy too.....with muddy footprints yet agn...but I managed to not say a word and calmly cleaned everything up and took a 30 min shower....with the door LOCKED!!!!LOLOL

Tday has just been a mess-literally- and I feel like Ive been cleaning all day

Tnight at bedtime I apoligised to each of the kiddoes abt being a grump and blamed the mud on my mood-which I guess it was...LOLOL-

I SOOOOOOOOOO hate the mud during Spring!!

Im going on strike if it snows again...I cant take it...LOLOL;)

Back To Crazy........:)

...but CRAZY good-LOLOLOL

Well we finally took the tree down and all the decorations are put away-well all boxed up anyway-I'll take them down tom;)LOLOLOL The house alwasy looks so bare aftre Christmas-so I usually keep a few snowmen and snowflake things up-but HA!! No snow this year!!LOLOLOL O well...
Tday we got 11 eggs-so only 2 of our 13 chickens are not laying...WEIRD-its like even their timing and seasonal laying is off-they are acting like they should start laying agn-so once agn we have eggs overflowing in the fridge...LOLOL So call me a nut-but the weather IS-I repeat IS off!!Even the chicks think so;P
I was watching the sky yesterday too and what usually is a seasonal fly over of migration is all weird too-I saw a flock of geese flying EAST!!
So everything is off-We( Stinger pointed it out to me as he knows I HATE them)even noticed a pincher bug downstairs-witch are totally summer bugs....
Anyway-enough of the craziness...
We are all slowly getting back into the swing of things-busy busy as usual. Monkey boy had his first presentation in class-had to use note cards and everything-how weird is that-and had to report what he had learned abt volcanos to the class..He ended the report with a baking soda volcano we had made. When asked how it went he said everyone thought it was "way cool!!" So Im guessing it was a success:)
Flamingo has announced that she no longer wants to take clogging and wants instead to take gymnastics...so I guess we will look into that next year-but I told her she had to finish out this year first...She has been busy with sleepovers etc...She has been playing her heart out with her Monster High dolls/American Girl dolls and just ordered the Draculaura Monster High Sweet 1600 from Walmart-We lucked out and saw a new shipment was posted at Walmart-we barely got the order in-before the shipment was sold out that night...LOLOL Youve got to be quick as hot cakes with that stuff...LOLOL But she says THANK YOU Papa and Nana!!:)She's been saving her money for it...
Stinger is doing much, MUCH better in school and is just LOVING his new PSP-going in to Game Stop and trading in his games for new ones has become HIS thing....* rolls eyes* but the kid is a wiz-actually downloaded pics from the PS3 to the computer and onto his PSP-man-kids these days-how did they get more clever than us????;)

But things are going well, except we have NO snow to play in...yet...yes...Im still wishing....
Im going to try and update more...yeah...but seriously...gunna try...
My leg has been acting up-dont knwo what I did-wasnt even noticing it- it was doing really well and I guess I did something last week as my toes are numb agn...sigh...but its not hurting...unless I move my leg backwards...
Gunna try a whole week at gym this week-theyve changed up the classes agn-and Zumba is in the morning agn-WHOOT!! LOVE that class:)

I know its a bit late-but its not over till you put the tree down right?-well ours is stil up-LOLOLOL so here goes:

We tried something different this year-we usually have each childs stash in a pile for them individually-some wrapped and some not and this year we tried to put everything under the tree, with a couple things left out from Santa...Man-I really had a hard time with this idea...I wanted to, and I didnt. For soo many years we did this-and its just been how its been done. But earlier when I had been watching A Christmas Story with the kids I really liked the idea of "playing Santa" like they did-that way everyone could watch what everyone got and we as parents wouldnt miss anything...Which of course always has happened in the past. But I love the shock and awh on Christmas morning when each kid sees their pile -LOLOL- I take great pride in arranging it all just right-ya know...LOLOLOL-silly I know-but my parents always made everything so magical and thats what I remember. But I really wanted to be able to not miss anything...so we gave it a try. I have to admit I didnt even sleep well that night worrying about it-how crazy is that one!!LOLOLOL But the kids loved it and Dh and I did too....so we shall see if it sticks...LOLOLOL, but didnt get the best pics with everyones piles etc...but the kids were soo happy and thankful and thats what truly matters out of the whole thing:)Makes me smile just looking back at these pics-the kiddoes are growing up soo fast though :(

Christmas Soldier

Twas the night before Christmas, and he lived in a crowd, In a 40 man tent, with warriors so loud. I had come into the tent with presents to give, And to see just who in this rack did live. I looked all about, and a strange sight I did see,... No tinsel, no presents, not even a tree. No stockings were hung, just boots close at hand, On the locker hung pictures of far distant lands. He had medals and badges and awards of all kind, And a sobering thought came into my mind. For this place was different, it was so dark and dreary, I had found the home of a Soldier, this I could see clearly. The Soldier lay sleeping, silent and alone, Curled up in his rack, dreaming of home. The face was so gentle, the barracks in such good order, But not how I pictured a United States Soldier. Was this the hero whom I saw on TV? Defending his country so we all could be free? I realized the families that I've seen this night, Owed their lives to these Soldiers who were willing to fight. Soon round the world, the children would play, And grownups would celebrate a new Christmas Day. They all enjoyed freedom each month of the year, Because of the Soldiers, like the one lying here. I couldn't help but wonder how many lay alone, On a cold Christmas Eve, in a land far from home. The very thought brought a tear to my eye, I dropped to my knees and started to cry. The soldier awakened and I heard a rough voice, "Santa, don't cry, for this life is my choice." "Defend my country this day, the peace do I keep." The soldier then rolled over and drifted to sleep, I couldn't control it, I continued to weep. I kept watch for hours so silent, so still, And we both shivered from the night's cold chill. I didn't want to leave on that cold, dark night, This guardian of honor so willing to fight. Then the Soldier rolled over and with a voice soft and pure, Whispered, "Carry on Santa, it's Christmas. All is Secure."
