Cute Advent Idea......

Oh Man-look what I found today-isnt it cute-I think its awesome!!!!!But man!!!! too late this year-but Ill be doing one next and then every year.....:)



It is made out of a mini muffin tin. It is easy and fun to make. All you do is cut squares out of magnetic paper (can be found at a craft store) to fit over the holes in the muffin tin. Then, you decorate the squares with Christmas paper (you could even probably use wrapping paper) and any kind of embellishments you want. After making the calendar, you can put whatever you want behind the squares: small candies, scriptures or thoughts, activities to do each day, etc… You could put family activities behind each one. Below is a list of different holiday and/or Christmas activities that you could choose from.



· Make hot cocoa and drink it while watching a holiday movie

· Make a paper chain countdown

· Make a popcorn chain for your Christmas tree

· Take a drive and look at holiday lights

· Go watch the Christmas Nativity or a holiday play

· Bake and decorate holiday cookies

· Christmas shopping- Take children to the dollar store and let them pick out $1 presents for mom and dad or other family members
